Jason Mraz

Jason Mraz is an American singer/songwriter. His influences include Reggae, Pop and Rock. His musical style, from rhythmic feeling to his use of nylon string guitar and has been heavily influenced by Brazilian music. His first hit was the song “I’m Yours”. The single was at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was a huge success, receiving a triple Platinum certification from the RIAA. The song was successful internationally.

Jason Mraz was the recipient of two Grammy Award and also of two Teen Choice Awards, a People's Choice Award and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. He sold over seven million albums and over 11.5 million digital singles.

Mraz released his debut album in 2002. His second album was released in 2005, peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 200 and sold over one hundred thousand copies in the US. His third studio album was released in 2008. In 2012, he released his fourth studio album, Love is a Four Letter Word. The album sold 102,000 copies, his best sales week to date.
