The Adversary

The Adversary started in summer 2017, The Vision of Myke Singleton ( credits: toured, open and or performed with such acts as Prince, Red Hot Chilli Peppers,George Clinton and producer of the group Soul Sychedelics).
Myke was coming off the stage one nite at a jam session, He notices a man whom he had seen at several venues. stops him and says he really enjoyed what he heard and wanted to know, what was the plan for the future.

The Adversary vision

Myke then sat down and explained his vision for The Adversary to 80 year old Albert aka "Tud" who could pass for a (slightly younger Hugh Hefner), and also mentioned the fact that he was a veteran and seeking a partner and mentor. Once Tud (an Ex Pilot) heard that this involved supporting veterans, he was all in! From that point Myke Start auditioning and recruiting musicians.

The idea was to create a unique modern metal band that perform songs that are Modern Metal classics. After connecting with Progressive Metal drummer, Peter Breene, there were several auditions as we went thru a host of musicians. The search was on to find the right singer/screamer for The Adversary. They placed ads, as there were several talented people that tried out for the position but none were the right fit for the band. And then came Lucas Massey, someone who could actually scream and sing in pitch. And he was completely new to the music business. Myke saw his raw talent. Next came Manuel Morias on Lead Guitar, a long time friend of Myke who had seek his talents from the conception of the band! The rhythmic section was then assembled with Lee Whelan taking the role as bass guitarist.

The Adversary members

The Adversary is a collective of musicians. The goal is to perform songs that you love and never hear other local bands perform. Members of the group are U.S. Army Veterans. With a new promotional video set for release the band ready to hit the stage!
