Detroit Mariachi 1
This Detroit Mariachi group performs in the state of Michigan as well as in neighboring states.
Formed in 1998, by the leader of the band, they began performing in Mexican restaurants in the Detroit area. These days, they perform authentic Mariachi music for weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, quinceaneras and festivals.
Some of the songs that they play are Las Mananitas, La Bamba, Libro Abierto, El Rey, a Ley del Monte, Ellas, Una Pagina Mas, La Raspa (Mexican Hat Dance), and Guantanamera.
Some of the influences of this Detroit Mariachi group are Vincente Fernandez, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, and Jorge Negrete.
