Straight Ahead

Straight Ahead is a 6 piece jazz and swing band which specializes in classic jazz standards, with a mix of Latin, and pop music added for good measure.

At the heart of the band is the lead singer who has sung in a number of jazz groups before becoming a founding member of the band and is, according to the Jazz Society of Central Florida, “a voice to be heard.” She was voted “Best of the Best” entertainer by Lake Magazine in 2011.

The other musician hails from Australia and is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has mastered several instruments over his 20 years in the business including keyboard, flute and bass. He is an accomplished arranger as well and lends his expertise to every piece in the band's repertoire.
