World Band 3

In 2005, the two members of this World Band met in Basel, Switzerland and decided to travel together in Cameroon. Upon their return, they decided to launch their musical project.

With an amalgamation of traditional and modern instruments, both electric and acoustic, this World Band’s music carries the listener on a powerful and enchanting rhythmic journey: a real call to dance and meditation.

This journey produced their first musical album in 2008, marking the return of the polyrhythmic traditions of central Africa. Since then, their sound has evolved and been enriched with new textures, weaving fine electro acoustic compositions that are sometimes gentle, sometimes wild.

Featuring amplified tribal instruments which are as intriguing to the eye as they are enchanting to the ear, this mixed duet opens us to a new music, a true urban tribal trance.

The second album of this World Band came up in June 2011.
