This Cleveland Variety Band is a singing group that first began recording on the Kapp label in 1967. “Born Free” from the movie of the same name, and “The Impossible Dream” were their most noted hits. They recorded four Albums. They went to New York in 1968 where they performed at the famed Apollo Theater along with Chuck Jackson. They toured in Germany with Dick Clark with the USO show, which was also broadcast on the Armed Forces Radio Stations. They have performed with Gladys Knight and the Pips, Stevie Wonder, The Ojays, Sly and the Family Stone and a multitude of others. The group continued to perform until the late 80′s when they disbanded.
