Salt Lake City Tejano Band 1

This 6 musicians Salt Lake City Tejano Band is the only progressive Tejano band from Utah. They have been together since January 2007 and each band member has many years of experience.

Their first CD was released in November 2007 from Funkystyle Records. The song "Solo Para Ti" made it to number 4 on bnetradio top 20, to number 16 on Tejanisimo Xtreme Leon top 20, to number 17 on Tejano Gold Countdown and to number 4 on West Texas top 20. The song “Porque Tu” made it in the top 20 on Bnetradio in 2008.

In January 26, 2008, Jesse M. Garcia, Ogden City Council, presented each member of this Salt Lake City Tejano Band with a Certificate Of Appreciation for unique Tex-Mex style and Pamela Candia Hernandez, Diversity Manager of Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College, presented one of the band's member with a glass plaque to acknowledge to his support of the College and the Hispanic/Latino community through his unique Tex-Mex Style of Music.

Their CD is now getting air play in Texas, Kansas, Chicago, Colorado California, Oregon, New Mexico, Washington and Idaho. They have been interviewed on the radio stations in Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Oregon, Chicago and also on Countdown USA with Ben Gonzales. Their CD is being distributed to all the record stores nation wide.

This Salt Lake City Tejano Band also got invited in March 2008 to perform at the Tejano Fan Fair in San Antonio, Texas and in August 2008, they performed at the Dallas Tejano Convention Expo.
