Seattle Reggae Band 3

This Seattle Reggae Band is for the true lovers of music and culture. The group was founded in early 2014 as a multi-genera musical performance platform, and has been a staple participant in the active Seattle reggae scene since. They recently graced the stage at Seattle Hempfest, one of the city's most well-known festivals for music and culture. The band's diverse background of musicians and monstrous rhythm section prove to be a more than adequate platform for its founders to convey their musical and social ideas, while displaying a plethora of bright talent surrounding them.

Seattle Reggae Band performances

Performances combine intricate musical pieces with innovative staging that creates a resonant draw with the audience, forcing them to feel, respond, and move with the musical experience. People are pulled in by the rush; feeling their own social causes and humanity mirrored at them by the experience that this Seattle Reggae Band creates. "We are all cultural soldiers in a way." The group is currently seeking sponsorship to help plan a tour and subsequent recording.

Seattle Reggae Band inspiration

The leader of the band was originally inspired to make a career in music after Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, the seminal Jamaican artist caught an early performance of his, and encouraged him to record his efforts. This band represents not just a current band, but a musical opus for the celebrated front man. The band message is always clear and positive – if not uplifting. It is always delivered with the conviction of a preacher or great orator. Their material is also quite different and more diverse in its content than is often seen amongst other reggae-driven groups. This Seattle Reggae Band is a musical army; quite simply put, a force to be reckoned with.
