Straight Ahead, featuring Tina Stefanos, offers a repertoire specializing in jazz and swing covers, as well as a few of their originals. The group has a professional, uncompromising and engaging musical style, coupled with outstanding vocal performances.
Straight Ahead repertoire
Straight Ahead’s extensive playlist, ranging from classic jazz standards, pop, and R & B, assures an enjoyable musical experience. Tina Stefanos is, according to the Jazz Society of Central Florida, a “Voice to be Heard”.
Artists include Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Al Green, Billie Holiday, The Beatles, and George Benson, just to name a few. Straight Ahead extensive playlist includes over 100 jazz standards. And, of course, they take requests because with enough time, they’ll be happy to include your favorites at your special event.
Straight Ahead configurations
Their most common jazz quartet format consists of bass, keyboards, drums, and vocals. The band can also be booked as a trio or as a full six-piece band. Straight Ahead has performed at many of Orlando’s premiere hotels and resorts, including The Grand Floridian, WDW Swan & Dolphin, Rosen Shingle Creek, as well as many local and corporate events.
