Harrisburg Irish Band 1
This Harrisburg Irish Band is an Irish American band with musical roots in rock, traditional Irish, bluegrass, coal cracker, and the blues. When they play live, they mix their sets up with a blend of our original, traditional, and contemporary Irish songs. In certain venues, they can customize their show to include our original coal mining songs about the history of the Irish coal miners, the Molly Maguires, the coal regions, and the first labor unions.
Harrisburg Irish Band music
They also perform Irish coal cracker music, original as well as historical in nature, that tells the story of the Irish immigrants and their families who migrated to the hard coal regions of Pennsylvania and changed the course of history by fighting for and creating the first labor union in history. This Harrisburg Irish Band's original Irish music tells stories of places and people, traditions, struggles and the history of Ireland as well as Irish-America
