The leader of this Los Angeles German Band is an accordionist. Ah but this is not your usual accordion. This is a Roland V Accordion. She plays a wide variety of music but hery forte is music for ballroom dancing. She found her “niche” in the music world some 40 years ago and have actually been able to make a living playing the accordion.

Originally the leader of this Los Angeles German Band was from Iowa and moved to the Los Angeles area in 1984. Currently she resides in Seal Beach and have a full schedule of “gigs” as a “one woman band”. She was able to do that because of the midi accordion. She now uses the Roland FR7X accordion midi to the Roland BK7M module. She also sings. Her music consists of songs from the 40s to the present. Included in her repertoire is German, Italian, Irish, French and Czech genres.
