This Cajun band came together in June of 2004. The accordionist, who had fronted a popular zydeco band in Oregon before moving to the Big Island, met several Kona musicians who were captivated by the fresh rhythms and soulful energy of this much-loved Louisiana dance music. After a few months of joyful rehearsal, the band debuted with gigs at the Kona Elks Club, the Blue Dolphin and the Korner Pocket in October of 2004, and immediately began building the local following who look forward to doin' the zydeco at every opportunity.

This group is the first and only band on the Big Island to play zydeco, the funky dance music of Southwest Louisiana, that combines Cajun, blues and Caribbean flavors into a spicy rhythm that makes folks want to boogie.

They have played clubs and resort venues, private parties and weddings all over the Big Island, including the Four Seasons Resort, Hilo Yacht Club, Hapuna Prince Hotel, Kona Brewing Company, MIXX Bistro and Hard Rock Cafe.
