This Los Angeles Bluegrass Band is an Americana band specializing in bluegrass, old-time country, traditional folk and foot-stompin’ mountain music, all done with an exciting modern flair. The band’s repertoire features a broad range of tunes from classics like “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” and “Will the Circle be Unbroken” to bluegrass covers of rock bands like the Ramones and U2 and everything in between.

They have played in the Los Angeles area and up and down the West Coast for about seven years. In that time, the group has released four full-length records (they’re currently working on their fifth!) and was featured on a CMH Records’ bluegrass tribute to Rock of the 80′s collection. The group was a headlining act at last year’s Topanga Banjo/Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival and were featured at the San Francisco Bluegrass and Old-Time Festival.

Songs written by this Los Angeles Bluegrass Band have found their way into several film projects, including the Sundance feature Chronic Town and the award-winning festival short Pie ‘n Burger. On stage, members of the band have been lucky enough to play with artists like the world-famous Indigo Girls and Dan Bern and Mike Viola, who co-wrote the music for the hilarious classic country parody film Walk Hard.

Since forming, this Los Angeles Bluegrass Band has developed a worldwide following and has played countless live shows. The performances are energetic, fun, heart-felt, and often very funny – most of the guys in the group perform in improv comedy ensembles around Los Angeles.
