This Seattle-based band was formed in 2002.
They play acoustic jazz influenced by the work of Django Reinhardt and
his musical heirs. Music filtered through the cafes of Paris, the
tradition of Django Reinhardt, Classical concert halls, and modern jazz
all combine to create a incredible musical experience.
The group has built a large and loyal following through the years with
their masterful melding of the gypsy jazz, modern jazz, ethnic, and
classical genres.

This band has played their unique blend of Louisiana
musical styles for the past 15 years. They made several recordings and
appeared with Queen Ida, Katie "Queen of the Swamp Boogie Piano"
Webster, Buckwheat Zydeco and the Sundogs, as well as on TV, radio and
at a number of music festivals over the years.
Whether it's Rockin' Cajun, Zydeco Soul, New Orleans Rhythm & Blues,
Swamp Pop, Dixieland, Country Blues, Tex-Mex, Western Swing or other
Southern idioms, they make you feel like you're on the bayous of
Southwestern Louisiana or Eastern Texas, and it's party time.
The group has received enthusiastic responses from radio across the
West, and made a splash on the "beach music" charts in the Carolinas as
well - their version of "I Like It Like That" reached #16 while staying
on the charts for many months in 1996. We hear they're "shaggin" to a
few songs from Big Big Love now. The band's CD Mardi Gras In New Orleans
made it to #2 on the charts of German magazine Blues News. Their fourth
CD is out and available now.
