Since its inception in 1989, this Caribbean band has brought the pulsating rhythms and infectious melodies of the world's happiest music, calypso, to countless Northwest audiences. With a touch of Reggae, Latin Jazz, Pop music, and other Caribbean styles thrown in for good measure, they offer the ultimate in variety and flexibility while maintaining the Caribbean sound.

This band normally consists of six musicians: two sets of steel drums, flute and sax, keyboard, bass, and drums. Depending on such variables as budget, room size, and type of event, however, the band can be whittled down to a quintet.

This is the perfect band for dancing, listening, or just to add a touch of Caribbean Class to your next festive affair.

This Caribbean band was created in 1996 by the leaders of two of Seattle's most active steel drum groups in order to offer you the best in steel drum music at an affordable price. With high-quality pre-programmed accompaniment tracks combined with the excitement and sparkle of live steel drums, the music sounds full, classy, and fun at an affordable price.

The repertoire of the band offers much variety and flexibility. Calypso and Soca, the music styles most commonly associated with steel drums, is more than adequately covered in the book, with decades-old standards like "Yellowbird" and "Jamaican Farewell." They also keep current and includes in their repertoire more contemporary songs by the likes of Trinidad calypsonian Lord Kitchener, as well as Reggae standards from the likes of Bob Marley. In addition to the danceable Caribbean styles, this duo also plays many relaxed Latin jazz and pop tunes, a necessary element for background music jobs like poolside parties, cocktail receptions, and dinners. They even include several seasonal favorites in their repertoire, making them perfect for private or company holiday parties. Read More

From the City of Port Of Spain on the Island of Trinidad comes a singer and songwriter whose love for music can be traced back to his childhood days as a pan player in Steel Orchestras. Against the wishes of his parents he began playing steel drums at the age of 16. The glamour of the Savannah stage at Carnival time captured this young lad's heart and he hoped that someday he would perform on the same stage that had hosted some of the Country's greatest Calypsonians and Steel Bands. By the time he was 18, he played on the Savannah stage with such Steel Orchestra greats as Huggins Pandemonium, Coca Cola Silverstars and Vat 19 Tripolians.

He moved to the United States in 1975 and settled in Bellingham, Washington. In August of 1991 he formed his own band to bring his Soca, Calypso, Reggae sounds to crowded dance floors at Local Clubs, Wedding receptions, Fraternities, Corporate parties and Charity events. His band is composed of eight musicians, featuring the Hottest Horn Section in the Pacific Northwest. Together they create sweet Caribbean sounds that dare the feet not to dance.  Read More
