California's Premiere Flamenco Rumba and World Music Band!

They blend festive energetic world rhythms and melodies of Italy and Spain with the flavors of Argentina and the Americas nurtured in the vast soul of India.

With two professional Opera singers, diverse ethnic instruments, driven by gorgeous, rhythmic Spanish Guitars, the Indian Sarode and soaring Violin, they meld the varied and divergent tonalities of Pop, Flamenco & World Music into a "fresh vibrantly unique and visceral listening and visual experience". All songs can be sung in Italian, Spanish or English.

They create many moods: romance, passion, relaxation, elegance and humor.

The small town of Granada, Nicaragua is an unlikely beginning for a virtuoso guitarist the caliber of Roger. But then nothing about this uncommon artist is exactly as it seems. The sound emanating from the family piano often filled the family's home. Roger (senior) would often treat the family to his musical prowess during informal family gatherings. It was here for the first time that Roger Jr. delighted to the melodies that would come to be the heart of his signature style throughout his adult years.

Soon after High School graduation, for the first time ever, Roger heard something new in college, -- the sounds of the Gypsy Kings. His life would never be the same. Roger muses, "Right then and there I knew what I wanted to do with the guitar and with my music.

Immediately, Roger began studying with Jorge Strunz of the ever so popular guitar duo Strunz and Farah. Roger studied the "Latin rhumba" and "Gypsy rhumba" as well as those rhythms from Latin America and the Middle East. He was perfecting the rhythm style of his new idols the Gypsy Kings. He studied Flamenco rhythms with good friend Paco Arroyo and Gino D'Auri. Roger is now expanding his musical studies as a student at the world acclaimed Berklee School Of Music.

With the release of his debut album, Roger is poised to make his mark.

He is known for his unique brand of pulsating, energetic music, best described as "Acoustic Groove." He studied Flamenco guitar in Spain with a family of Gypsy performers, and has a B.A. in Music from SF State University.

He has performed widely throughout the San Francisco Bay area, has had lengthy engagements at the Four Seasons Clift Hotel, The Palace Hotel, and the famed restaurant "Michael Mina" at the Westin St. Francis Hotel. He has also performed at many wineries in Napa, Sonoma and the South Bay, including Robert Mondavi, Cuvaison, Artesa, Clos Pegase, Far Niente, Byington, Viansa, Sterling and Niebaum-Coppola.

He and his group have appeared at the S.F. Jazz Festival, S.F. Performances, the North Beach Jazz Festival, and the San Jose Jazz Festival.

He has recorded 3 CDs of original music.
